Monitors
We rely on volunteer monitors to staff the Technology Resource Center.
Monday - Friday - 11 AM - 5 PM
Saturdays - 2 PM - 4 PM

Monitors are vital to the operation of the center and to our effort to provide digital equipment and services to the Leisure World Community.
It is not necessary for monitors to be computer experts, but some experience with digital equipment is helpful. A training session is provided for new volunteers.
Duties include answering the telephone as well as questions from guests, unlocking and locking the center, helping users with problems and tidying up at the end of the session.
Monitors select the shifts they want to cover before the beginning of each month. They can can sign up online for as many or as few sessions as they choose. Call the center at 301-598-1306 for more information.
