LeisureWorld Tech is a self-sustaining organization operating entirely within and for the Leisure World of Maryland community. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, and all funding is received through donations.

The name, Leisure World Tech, was adopted in 2023 to represent the combined operations of two existing organizations—Leisure World Computer Center Inc. and Leisure World Apple Club.

​Our primary responsibilities are operating the Technology Resource Center and providing education and training to our community. Management of these tasks is supervised by our seven-member board of directors.

  

Beginning in early 2023, we began looking for innovative ways to proviwe residents with training and information that can help them improve their ability to use digital tools in their daily lives. These efforts have led to better communication with our users and more accessible educational opportunities.
