The Technology Resource Center is a self-sustaining organization operating entirely within and for the Leisure World of Maryland community. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, and all funding is received through donations.​​

​Our primary responsibilities include providing education and training to our community. Management of these tasks is supervised by our seven-member board of directors.

  

Beginning in early 2023, we began looking for innovative ways to provide residents with training and information that can help them improve their ability to use digital tools in their daily lives. These efforts have led to better communication with our users and more accessible educational opportunities.

​In 2025 we updated and improved our equipment  and physical space with the help of a generous grant from the Leisure World Trust.
