General Information
What is the Leisure World Technology Resource Center?
The Leisure World Technology Resource Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, officially registered as the Leisure World Computer Center and operating under our current name to better reflect our broader mission. The center is managed by a dedicated Board of Directors, all of whom are volunteers.
We provide free technology support and resources to Leisure World residents and their guests, including:

Access to Windows PCs, Windows laptops, Macs, and Chromebooks

A wide range of technology training and educational programs

Scanning services and other useful tech tools

Printing and copying services, available for a small fee per page

Who can use the Technology Resource Center?
All Leisure World residents and their guests are welcome to use the center and its services. There is no charge to use the center except for a nominal fee for all printing and copying.
Where is the Technology Resource Center located?
We’re conveniently located in Clubhouse 2, within the Leisure World community.
Are there any rules about using the center?
Yes - The Board of Directors for the center has developed a Center User Policy that all visitors much agree to before they can use the center. All visitors MUST sign in when they come to the center and as part of the sign in they are agreeing with our Center Use Policy. The policy has been designed to protect both users and the integrity of the Center's resources.
Services and Support
What kinds of computers, devices, and accessories are available for use?
We offer free access to a wide range of technology for residents and their guests, including:

Windows PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks

A large-screen Smart TV and a high-resolution projector for presentations or group viewing

Laser and inkjet printers with color and black & white printing and copying.

Portable DVD/CD players

A variety of headphones for use with computers

Some large screen Monitors
In addition, we provide office tools such as a paper cutter, hole punchers, and staplers with staples available for use during your visit.
Printing and copying services are available for a small fee per page.
Do I need an appointment to get help?
No appointment is necessary. Walk-ins are welcome, and one-on-one help is provided at no charge. Visitors are typically provided help on a first come, first service bases.
What types of tech support do you offer?
We assist with a variety of topics, including email setup, internet browsing, device troubleshooting, printing, file management, app usage, help with Tablets, Cell Phones, smart devices, and much more.
Do you repair computers or mobile devices?
While we don’t do hardware repairs, we can often help diagnose issues and recommend next steps or suggest options for getting services.
Courses and Programs
Do you offer classes or seminars?
Yes! We offer scheduled classes, seminars, and workshops on a wide range of topics, from basic computer use to more advanced technology.

Visiting the Center
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours may vary dependent of the availability of Volunteers. Please visit the Hours of Operation page to see when we’re open.
Is there a fee to use the center or attend classes?
No! All of our services, including device use support, and classes, are free of charge thanks to the donations we receive and our volunteers. Note: There is a nominal fee for all printing on any of our printers and the cost is per impression.
Getting Involved
Can I volunteer at the Technology Resource Center?
Yes! We’re always looking for friendly volunteers to help is keep the center open as much as possible. Visit our Volunteers page or stop by the center to learn more.
How is the center funded?
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on donations and volunteer support. Contributions help us maintain and grow our services for the community. There is a contribution box located at the center's reception desk and receipts are available upon request.
